Sam Joynson, the Conservative Party's Parliamentary Candidate for Eastleigh, has launched a campaign to improve bus connectivity in Eastleigh, Chandler's Ford, Valley Park, Bishopstoke, Fair Oak and West End.
Sam stated "it is quite clear that there are big gaps in our local bus network, and these need to be filled. Improved bus connectivity empowers those without access to a car, reduces traffic on our roads and reduces our community's carbon footprint."
Sam added "I'm launching a grass-roots campaign to improve our bus network, with the first step being the launch of a survey to better understand what all residents want from their public transport services. I will then consolidate the responses to this survey, and present the findings to Hampshire County Council, campaigning hard to plug the gaps identified by residents."
